More and more, I find myself using the C6th neck when I want a more folksy sound. I take my foot off the volume pedal and mostly use the following changes:

D +Eb
E +F
C +C#
A
G
E -Eb +F
C +C#
A

I use a glass bar to reduce sustain and give it a more "acoustic" sound. I avoid the "jazz" chords typical of C6th. Basically, LKL works like the E9th F lever and P6/RKR work like the E9th B pedal (I to IV change). That's really all you need to get a folksy sound. _________________ -𝕓𝕆𝕓- (admin) - Robert P. Bob,
For the a diatonic thirds thing I like strings 2 and 3 with pedals 6 and 7 also. The C6 just gets more and more fun and useful for me also. _________________ Bob |
