Here is a pic of the ones I have built.Starting from the left is the order I built them in. The first one was constructed last summer. Please ignore the "cheater markers" as I am just learning how to play.The last one on the right is my contribution to the low cost lap steel thread I unwittingly started. The body was given to me and was bare. I added the parts to see what tone it would have.When it showed it had great sustain and tone, I added the bottom with port holes to give it some resonance. So here they are.

The space between the 3 and 2 ... dscn03 29 ... was the problem.
