PA Reissues....avaliable again !
Last year I purchased the remaining original aluminum patterns, dies, jigs and parts of Paul A. Bigsby . I bought these from forum member Paul Warnik who along with Dave Peterson built 9 Triple Neck PA Reissues and restored many original Bigsby guitars with NOS stock he had.
After close to a year of working with pattern makers , aluminum foundries, machinist and other owners of original instruments I have built a few prototypes. I am also ready to begin a limited production of these instruments. To keep things simple I am calling them Clinesmith Steel Guitars and refering to them as PA Reissues.
I have had many new patterns made up from original parts as well as the original patterns that were purchased. As with my Resonator Guitars I only will be using the finest woods. High figure Birdseye and Curly Maple will be used . Not one corner has been cut on these instruments from the pickups down to the legs .
I am now offering double 8 and triple 8 string guitars with wood or aluminum necks. 10 string guitars and pedals will be offered soon as well as a single neck lap guitar.
Heres a photo of my D-8 Aluminum neck guitar
This is my Gig Rig... D-8 A6/E13 tunings Clinesmith Steel Guitar with Bigsby Volume/ tone pedal
T-8 Wood necks in Birdseye maple

Thanks everybody for such a great response.
Mike Neer... Looking forward to getting one in your hands , and hearing what you do with it
Rick A... Thanks again for the casting advice .
Cofee Table.... Thats a good idea. When ever I get around to owning my own home, I envision a kitchen with Birdseye cabinets and cast aluminum endplate handles for drawer pulls ! My wife liked the idea but could not sell her on volume knobs for drawer pulls.

I truly am totally crazy about this endevour, Yes, I even have a personal guitar ordered from Mr. Clinesmith myself.
Todd is a great craftsman and an even nicer guy.
As Mr. Neer stated, I also can hardly wait for mine. They look as good as the originals, I'm sure I'll treasure mine as much as my original PAB guitars.
Do I endorse this guitar? You bet I do!
Todd I have your P.Bar drawings and measurements ready.

Single 6 or 8
Very beautiful steels. They look like they would sustain till tomorrow and be tone monsters! Is there any chance you will be building single 6 or 8 stringers in the future?
