Francesco in response to your question. I think Steve's C6th setup is very Emmons like standard. I have sat behind his guitar a few times and I don't recall there being anything out of the ordinary. Steve is a great player with a great mind for the Steel guitar and music in general. You could buy some of Steve's courses from the Emmons Co if you wanted too. They would be of great benefit in showing his approach to playing both the C6th and E9th tunings.

Good Luck,
George

Hi George!
Thanks for your reply.
Probably Steve Palousek has more Steel Guitars so, maybe you sat behind the standard one, sure. I used to tab his music, and I' m sure he lowers both A to Ab and the G string to F and, in the last cd he takes the High E to Eb, and probably the D string to C#. In fact, in one of his courses, in the beginning he plays "The Days Of Wine and Roses" where in the ending part he uses no standard pedals (Or Knee levers) and when he explain how to play that song he changes the ending because the second time he uses a standard steel. So, I' m wondering which setup he has in the fourth pedal and in the central C6 knee levers set.
I hope somebody can reveal his intere C6 copedent/setup.
