Could anyone give some idea as to the value of a 1956 Fender double neck stringmaster guitar. One problem is that a tuning key on each neck is stripped, otherwise it plays and sound great.
As this is my first time on the Forum, I haven't figured out how to send a photo. any suggestions are welcome.
thanks, Richard Philipsen

Richard, welcome to the forum.
A clean fully functional 56 D-8 is worth between $1500 and $2000, but they sometimes go for more.
Tuners are the big problem with Stringmasters, nobody makes the 4-in-line replacements and they're not easy to fix.
I seem to recall someone saying that Bobbe Seymour knows how to fix them. If anybody could, it would be him.
It's easy to post pics on the forum. Just click on the "Upload picture" button then click the "Browse" button and find your pic, then click "Open", then click "Send" then click "Insert Picture" and you're done. It's about 5 steps, but it's very straightforward.

Nice going Rich!
It's pretty scraped up, so it would be on the low end of the scale - around $1400 - $1500 if the tuners were intact.
Without good tuners it's hard to say, I've already been down that road.
My first Stringmaster had busted tuners on both necks too. I was able to find replacements, but that was years ago back when it was profitable to part them out.
I'd say ask Bobbe first, and just do whatever he tells you.
