Reece is the authority, but I'd guess that to be a very early (plywood/formica) "Classic" model, probably made early in June of '73. ;-)

Matt....If you will provide me the serial number stamped in the aluminum on the bottom side close to the changer system, I will do my best to provide you information about the guitar. I might also add that Donny is usually amazingly accurate when dating MSA guitars.

2C1070 is the # in question, though the C appears to be backwards. It is indeed a formica classic......

Matt....2C1070 shows to be a rosewood double 10 which left the factory with 8 pedals and 2 knee levers.

It's original destination was not entered into record, although I believe it went to CMI in Chicago, who was our distributor at the time. Your guuitar was born on July 27th 1973.
