Is it just me, or are you guys hearing a loud hum on steelradio.com ? Approx 250Hz + harmonics maybe?

Lana, thank you for doing such a great job bringing us these shows.
With regard to the hum, let me try to explain more clearly. It is not a bass amp or anything on stage. It's coming from something further downstream than the stage, or your mic, or the CD player that the station uses. We know this because the hum is there now, while you guys are on dinner break, and the station is playing CDs. The hum is at a constant level all the time.

I don't want to seem like I'm complaining too much. When the band plays, it drowns out most of the hum. So I'm enjoying the show.Lana Rosselli wrote:Ernest
I'll let the 'engineers' know and see what we can do. Bare with us please.
Thanks Again!
If the "engineers" point their web browser to http://www.steelradio.com/ and click on the logo at the top of the page, it would do more good than my trying to explain.
Again, great show and thank you! (but don't you think it's awfully country!?!?)

Steel radio
All I am getting on Steel Radio is intermittant. It goes to 80% buffer then starts over at 20%. So it is not resolving. Anyone have any ideas why it is doing that?....al

I tuned in after the show was over last night, and still heard the hum on the recorded music. I can hear it now on the live music too.
The music drowns it out, but it's very noticeable between songs. Maybe it's a watermark to prevent piracy!

Hum
Hi guys
I posted an email to Lana but will post here to for those that might like to try it
I used my korg tunner and beat tuned it to the hum and determined it to be about 450 hz
Using winamp equalizer pulled 310 and 600 slides all the way down about eliminated the hum completely.
Didn't hurt the sound quality either
It should work with any program that has an equalizer with it so give it a try.
