Thanks everybody so far. I'm basically looking for a good sounding, professional model guitar that won't break the bank and I'm loving what I'm hearing from the vintage R. It has a bit of a hybrid sound between a vintage tone and a modern tone which I dig. I'd also be interested in a Tom Warner / Ap...

I feel a bit limited by the non-adjustable linkage. I definitely like to get "comfortable", and am picky in regards to that area. Would this be a hindrance for someone like me? I appreciate all the help so far.

Good Pedal Steel for Beginner and Beyond

I'm looking into getting into pedal steel (lap steel for now) and was trying to get a gauge on what steels are out there that would be user friendly for a beginner but also have good crafstmanship and sound. I'd say a good estimate for price range would be around $1500-2000; a used instrument is fin...

Thanks, I think the music lends itself to a more reserved style, but its not that I could get really flashy yet anyways .

Myself Playing With Bobby Long

I am currently an undergraduate student at Penn State University. I joined a folk oriented band last fall and took up playing lap steel in it. This spring my band opened for British folk writer Bobby Long. He liked our playing and asked us to be his supporting band on Tour. Here is a clip from our s...
