i've actually been e-mailing doug from stars & garters about a show in february, so maybe we'll run into each other sooner or later...

come on out and celebrate the holidays with a little twang this friday. the dry creek rounders kick things off with some rowdy bluegrass, and the bathtub gins bring up the rear with some cosmic country!

both bands will feature pedal steel guitar...don't miss it!!

unfortunately there will be no steel tonight, but come on out for some old time bluegrass from the Dry Creek Rounders and some california country from the Bathtub Gins! music starts at 9:00 and the cover is only $5!

i've got a goodrich ph-2 that i am looking to trade for another volume pedal that can use batteries. the goodrich is in good shape...a few dings on it, but works great. i will post pics later.

brown rusler...nice! yup that old arachnid is still there, haven't taken an air compressor to the guitar yet. i'm glad somebody caught that! i thought it was pretty funny.

looking for a volume pedal...will take one with noisy or scratchy pot. just looking for something on the cheaper side.

here are some pics of the guitar. i've got a makeshift posterboard fretboard that doesn't work half bad... i'm going to clean it up real good this weekend, and probably paint it as well. thanks again to chris ivey for getting me going and showing me what's what. she may not be pretty, but she sounds...

i will definitely post some pics tonight...it's pretty beat up and looks to be a beginner model. it's actually probably the ugliest steel i've ever seen, but it does sound great! i think i'll probably refinish it...
