I think wisdom here would be to contact Al Briscoe for advice before trying any "home remedies." The advice provided here on the forum may be great, but Al is really the go to guy for Carters, so I would ask him first. Heck of a nice guy to deal with as well.

Richard offers you good advice. Many players set the B pedal a little lower than the A and C. Also, you could change the stop on the F lever allowing your knee to move a bit farther to the left. This will add "clearance" for the B lever.

MSA aluminum neck

Can anyone tell me pros/cons to a D10 MSA aluminum necked axe?? In theory, what were the aluminum necks suppose to do better that maple? Did they accomplish what they set out to do? I'm assuming that only the necks and not the entire top of the guitar was aluminum, right?

Carter starter LKL

The problem with the LKL stop can be remedied quite easily. First, you can replace the stop screw with one that has a larger, flatter head. This helps quite a bit, but if you exam the way the lever hits the stop, you'll see that only the tip of one of the angled sides of the lever actually makes con...

Playing BIAB files

Does it matter what version of BIAB (basic, ultra etc.) you have, if all you are doing is playing BIAB song files? Related question: is there any problem with playing a song on a Mac running BIAB if the song file was created on BIAB running on a PC or vice versa?
