My main guitar amp is a 1970 Dual Showman Reverb with added master volume and a custom overdrive channel, can't imagine a much better amp.

I agree that the picks are a tough one, I am much more comfortable thus far with a thumbpick and using either two or three fingers. I like being able to use my ring finger with no fingerpicks on.
