I listened to the tutorial. The first thing I noticed is that when he is playing with a background track, it helps to create a more realistic sound. But the big thing missing, as with all picked string instrument samples is the attack a pick gives you. A pick makes a very distinct sound and they hav...

My morning laugh Gary! Some of us are modest. Your guitar turned out really nice. Good job. Looking forward to the same for this one.

Sho-Bud Crossover

Hi Guys First off, I want to say I hope you all (and your loved ones) are safe and stay that way. It has been a tough one, this virus. The entertainment industry shut down early, a lot of production has been scheduled for next year, so LA has been hit hard, aside from all the personal tragedies goin...

What I have seen a lot of acoustic guitarists do that are playing their guitars in a lead fashion is to drop the tuning down. When John McLaughlin did his acoustic album "My Goals Beyond", he dropped his guitar a whole step (D-G-C-F-A-D)and he does a lot of string bending that way. It make...

Orlando, I have a Strat that was built by a guy that did custom work for Fender. I love that Strat.

I need another Strat like I need a hole in the head, but it's nice looking.

I am thinking about it. Will let you know in a couple of days.

I saw it and almost bid on it then started to take a really close look at it. The right end piece has suffered bad electrolysis corrosion, to the point that all of the polishing in the world is not going to help. Then the separation on the left side. By the time you finished, you could have purchase...

Patrick, one of this issues with old homes is grounding. You might have a receptacle with a ground out but it might not be hooked up to anything. And, your panel might not be bonded to a ground or water pipe. There are a lot of devices out there, some cheap and some expensive that will eliminate the...

I have a Pro II that I love but all guitars have a different color. I also own Strats, Teles, Les Pauls, SGs and a few other different guitars. No two sound alike to me. Maybe I'm crazy (actually, I could get a few to verify that) but each one sounds different. And feel different too. And don't get ...

Saw you were willing to sell the amp alone. How about the guitar? I have a boatload of amps and don't need another, even though it is a Bud. I had one back in 72. Really clean amps. But I love Albions now. Anyway, not plugging Albion, just saying. So, Anthony, if you are willing to sell the guitar, ...
