Like JD, I saw a D-8 Stringmaster on the Japanese Fender website about a year or so ago. I emailed them for a price, and the rep from Japan emailed back and said they only had one left and were going to discontinue production due to lack of sales. Who did all that great acoustic guitar work on the old Marty Robbins tune "El Paso"? Is he still alive and what other records did he play on? You just don't hear nice pickin' like that very much anymore. Thanks in advance.
