I replaced the pickup on the green guitar shown in my avatar with a George L 5-1. I had my former white mica guitar retrofitted with the Sierra modular system. Once again Curt had made a solid CD of songs we all know and love played on a steel guitar. What’s really cool about this and Curt’s previous work is that it’s all about the music, and not about Curt showing off his obviously considerable chops.

I have his previous CD "The Lion Steeps Tonight." It's a real winner. I assume this one will be as good.

This guitar has a pickup, but no pre-amp (which is probably why it was discontinued and replaced with a model that has one.) It's not a very good electric guitar, but it's a GREAT acoustic. The pedal I use for the Dobro sound is a Dunlop Q-zone pedal. I thought they had been discontinued, but I was wrong. They are still available.
