I've had a MSA mica classic forever and didn't realize how weak it sounded (for regular steel sound) until I recently obtained a wood one with the aluminum pickup surround and super sustain pickups. Wow what an improvement. But the mica one sounds great for rock slide guitar Gets a real full distort...

I've got both an ETS and a GFI Ultra SD10. No comparison, completely different animals. ETS sound is unique, nice definition, distinct bass when hitting high/low harmony riffs on different strings. I'm new here, seems I missed a few steels of this description that were listed and/or sold here recently.
I'm looking for a late model GFI SD10, preferably with a unique color scheme and the keyless tuning system.
I might also be interested in an Excel 10 string.
