8 string reso capo? What is out there?
I have a 8 string being built by Gregg McKenna. I have a Flux capo for the 6 string and although I do not use it very much it seems to work well. Is there a 8 string capo that anyone would suggest?

Amp for Resonator Guitar
I am looking for a small amp to use with a mic to play a resonator guitar. It does not have to be 100 watts. It will be used in a small building. Any suggestions?

Larry, you might want to check out Mark van Allen's website. He has 2 CD that are great for Reso.

David, I use Storm/Pelican cases for my Sho-Bud Pro II custom and my Beard reso guitars. I like the cases for their durability and water proof abilities. I travel quite a bit and when I drive the cases go in the bed of my pick up truck. I have 3 cases bought in 2003 for luggage that have traveled al...

Guys, I am not much of a steel player, having owned one for 2 years with limited playing time. My work requires me to travel around the US. However I am on a long term assignment in the Hayward, CA area and would donate my time to help. I should be here for 1 to 1 ½ years. Also if there is someone i...

I had the pleasure last spring to go and get a lesson form Herb. He is an upstanding person. While there I purchased many courses from him and it has helped me in the learning process of the PSG. I will be in the Bastrop area again in Feb and hope to have time to get another lesson form Herb. If you...

Tony thanks for setting Bo straight. Bo, no apology needed. I have followed yours and Stuart’s post many times. I do not post much on the forum. One thing I use this spreadsheet for is to take tabs and break them down and list the cords the player is using. I have had my PSG for just less than 1 yea...

Buddy Emmons set-up compared to a Keyboard
I had some spare time while sitting in the airport the other day and started putting a spreadsheet together that compares the Buddy Emmons set-up as it relates to the notes played on a keyboard. The keyboard was laid out and the each note from the copedant was placed on the spreadsheet. The sharp/fl...

James/Ricky, I have Pelican and Storm case Ricky can use. I use the Pelican for the D10 Bud I bought from Ricky. It has pull and pluck foam. I pack the Bud, legs, bar, volume pedal, picks, and bar. That way I have what I need incase the other (pack-a-seat) or other luggage gets lost. I have a couple...
