Fade Away - Pure Prairie League
Has anyone ever played the steel guitar intro to Fade Away by Pure Prairie League from the “Takin’ The Stage Live†album? John David Call plays some nice riffs that I am trying to figure out.

Thank you for sharing your terrific arrangements of these great songs. I've already got a couple of them from you and am working diligently to play them as well as you do.

Can't Help Falling in Love Tab
Just received the tab from John. Excellent arrangement for the beginner. Nicely done and within reach for someone starting out to be able to actually play a song. Thanks for sharing John. I look forward to some more of your tabs.

I've owned 2 GFI Student models and found them to be terrific guitars. They provide you solid quality in a beginner pedal steel. I did find them to be extremely lightweight and a bit thin sounding but would definitely recommend it to someone just starting out. I have heard many good things about the...

GFI Praise
I've owned several different brands of pedal steels over the years but back in 2006 GFI was recommended to me. I purchased a GFI Ultra SD10 3 + 4 and have never looked back. I currently own two of them. Great guitars!

Tab Request - "Love Won't Let Me Wait"
I recently heard this song again and remembered liking it. It's an old song from the 70's by a singer named Major Harris. I was impressed with the chords and thought it might work nicely on Pedal Steel. Just curious if anyone has ever tried to play this song and if so, are tabs available.

Picking Technique Question
I believe Jeff preferred the Thumb and middle finger combination because it kept the right hand tilted toward the pickup and in a better position to palm block. Whereas, if you use the first finger the tendency is to tilt the right hand to the left so the index finger doesn't have to reach to strike...

Check out Billy Coopers
Although I have never played a Nashville LTD steel guitar I can recommend very highly shopping at Coopers Music. Billy and Wanda are wonderful people and a pleasure to deal with. I have purchased several steel guitars from them over the years. Three of which I still own today. I'm certain you'll fin...

Pedal Steel Shop in NYC
I think it would be worth a shot. It would be expensive as already mentioned doing business in NYC but with support from the steel playing community it could work. Especially helpful would be to hook up with the Pedal Steel Guitar Association who could reach out to it's local members. Also, the alre...
