That is so awesome that Mick Mars owned this guitar! I remember seeing a video of Motley Crue and showing Mick playing this guitar. I can't remember the song, but it was probably on the Dr. Feelgood album.

I play guitar in my church band, and in the past 3 years have now introduced Pedal Steel to the congregation. They have REALLY loved having it mixed in with our contemporary service. I've also reworked a lot of hymns into a more "contemporary" style with Pedal Steel and they have also enjo...

I am a worship leader at my church and I bring out the pedal steel approximately once a month. We mainly play contemporary praise songs, but I'll work up some hymns and give them a modern feel and add pedal steel. This goes over VERY well. Come Thou Fount Of Every Blessing is a congregation favorite...

What Paul said...there are about a dozen of us around in Chicago. The club gigs are not good pay. My band does 3 or 4 hour shows of Honky Tonk/Rockabilly and we get between $300 - $400 for the entire night. Split that 4 ways in the band and all of a sudden it's not that great. Also...there aren't a ...

Christmas songs - Dobro

Anyone have any Christmas tabs for Dobro that they would care to share? Broke out the Dobro out of retirement the other week and would like to mess around with some Christmas Carols.

I tune straight up GBDGBD

Cheers!

The GC by my house is flooded with kids playing "Smells Like Teen Spirit" through Marshall or Mesa Boogie half stacks. When you walk in you better be prepared for some loud and awful guitar playing. I go there for basic needs (strings, picks, pedals, etc).

Yeah, that's a great guitar for a starter. The A and B pedals with the D lever (E's lowered) will keep you busy for a LONG time.

That's a Pro 1. It looks like the person put on a new fret board, but everything else looks original from those photo's. Would be nice to see a picture of the underside and the changer.

A single neck Pro 1 is approx $1k.

Cheers!

Howdy all, I'm selling my 1995 American Fender Strat Plus Deluxe. I'm the original owner and this guitar is in great shape. The neck on this guitar is a standout! The guitar is a "blue burst" finish from Fender's custom shop and is truly amazing to look at! Being a Strat Plus Deluxe it has...
