Effects Setting for Pedal Steel Guitar

I have 2 Lexicon effects units - MPX100 and MX200. I have them set up in stereo each to go through its own Peavey Rage amplifier. (I only play at home). What would be good settings for each of these for steel guitar? Thanks for any help you can provide.

Just to add - I have the cut of the song off of Pig's album. It's a little flat (from a record), but I can email it to you so you can figure out what Buddy is doing. Thanks.

Sweet Dreams (of You)

Looking for a needle in a haystack. Years ago, Pig Robbins cut an album. On it was the song "Sweet Dreams (of You) with Buddy Emmons doing one of the verses. I would love to get the tab for the verse that Buddy did. Can anyone help? Thanks.

Hi, Mark. Just received the CD and played it. Outstanding! Very clear and distinct pedal steel and dobro. I especially like "Grand Canyon" which you also composed. Thanks again. Bill.

My Steel Guitar Fan Is Gone

I lost my mother on Mother's Day in May. She was 95 2 days prior. She was a real steel guitar fan. I remember back in the 80's when her and me would travel into Minnesota to attend a Buddy Emmons concert. And when she went with me to Nashville when I took lessons from Jimmie Crawford and Doug Jernig...

This is an update. I sent my Emmons P/P to Clem Schmitz and when I got it back it tunes like a dream. All of the tuning parameters are there - whether I use the Buddy Emmons or the Jeff Newman temperment. All the fingers hit their stops. Thank you, Clem. I am in love with my P/P again!

How do I love thee....let me count the ways. Collars, springs, spacers, rods, fingers, flanges, bell cranks. I am in love with my Emmons Push-Pull again with a big thanks to Clem Schmitz who walked me through a place where I have never been...the underneath of my guitar. As he (over the phone) drew ...

Tuning an Emmons Push-Pull

My 4th string (E). I tune the F# (C Pedal) 1st at the tuning peg. I tune the E (open) 2nd at the lower rack. I tune the Eb (D lever) 3rd at the upper rack. Then I tune the F (F lever) 4th with the 1/2 tone tuner. Here is the issue. I can't get the Eb (D lever) "unsharped". The finger does ...

Jeff Newman - Last Date

Several years ago, I bought Jeff Newman's Woodshed Workshop #43 - Last Date. I finally decided to begin working on it, but I notice that Page 3 is Page 10 (I have two Page 10s). Does anyone have a Page 3 that they can copy and email to me. Thanks.

A & C Pedal 5th String

Merry Christmas, everyone. Here is my dilemna of the day. When I tune my 5th string, the C pedal pulls the string sharper than the A pedal. B note is 439.5, C# on the A pedal is 436.0, C# on the C pedal is 442.0. My BC minor sounds like garbage. Not knowing the mechanics underneath that well, anyone...
