I have been playing a Carter Starter for a little over a year. I recently bought this Mullen. The pickup makes a lot of noise when my volume pedal is full. Thank you for the advice. I'm going to readjust the tuners and be aware that this lever is going to be a bit stiffer.

I am new and so ignorant about this instument. I bought a Carter Starter new. After spending 6 or 7 days getting it tuned - I find that my LKR lever is very tight. The other levers work fine. What do I do to fix this?
