Official B bender hardware

So, I want to install a Parson/green on a Tele myself, but the only kits I’m finding are the hipshot ones. I would really like the chrome one that says parsons/green. Does anyone know where I can procure one? The lucite cover ones are super cool too, but I feel like those are demo models?

Stripping Polyester Finish on an Acoustic

I realize this is probably in the wrong category, but I can't tell where else to put it. I have a 1970s or 80s Aspen (japanese) acoustic that is very well made, nice pearl inlays, solid wood etc. The problem is the 1/16 inch thick poly finish on it that I'm pretty sure mutes the tone something severe...

Polishing Aluminum

Hi all, I thought I posted this question last night, but I didn't see it today, so I apologize if this is redundant. I was wondering how one goes about polishing the aluminum on a pedal steel when it is directly adjacent to mica (or lacquer) without damaging the sheen on the mica. Also, how do you d...

Need ball joints (in line) and fret boiard

Hey, I need ball joints for a weird DeArcos pedal steel. They are like the MSA ones that have the ball socket on the bottom instead of the side, and have the spring loaded sleeve that fits over it. I also need a new fretboard for the guitar, but want to keep it somewhat unique, so I don't want a Sho...

Any body know?

Hey, this is an oddball question, but does anybody know who played steel on Stevie Nicks’ “After the Glitter Fades”? This song means a lot to me and I always wondered. The steel has this unbelievable baritone voicing that is uncharacteristic of the usual Nashville guys of that era. http://www.youtub...

What would you take for this guitar? I am in the market for a smaller, simpler guitar like this one. I have a double neck 12 string MSA, but it is too complicated for me Your guitar looks really beautiful in the photos. What does it come with?

Converting Sho-bud maverick to S-10

Just a thought. I was wondering is it would be dumb to try to convert a sweet looking maple 3&1 Sho-bud Mav to a 3&4 S-10 by gutting the clothes hanger type rods and replacing them with a more pro-type undercarriage.

Stop-slip for set screws

Howdy all, I just got done setting up this 1970s MSA sidekick. Whew, those things are kind of tricky since you don't have much flexibility underneath. At any rate, I was wondering what is best to use to keep the changer finger set screws from slipping (i.e. lock-tite, or something a little more forg...

I took a full sized dreadnought guitar with hard case on the plane over Xmas, no hassles, but they might have to put it in the closet up by first class. Also, if the flight is really full, try to get on the plane earlier, or the bins fill up and they'll have to check it plane side. Good luck!

Rolands don't have the Cajones of a peavy, I'm not even a strict solid state man, but a good PV, solid state or not, like my 100 watt tube powered PV is my facvorite amp for my shobud, reverb and stadium Power!

MSA D-12 fretboard

The fretboards on my MSA D-12 classic had fallen off somehow before I bought it. I still have them , but they are a bit bent up and scratched. Does anyone know where to get replacements? I have a hunch that stock boards are quite pricey and would be OK with repros. thanks-BC

I will need to really look closely under there. There is so much machinery packed in below it that it is hard to see the little circuit board. I will try the direct leads off of the pickups, that's a good starting point. If the fuzz unit is faulty, should I fix it?, or is that a feature that is not ...

MSA classic low output pickups

Hi all, I have an MSA double 12 classic from the 80s. It has a battery on the bottom, and what would have to be active pickups. They sound quite good when the amp is cranked, but the output is super low compared to the passive pickup on my Shobud maverick. I changed the battery and tried every setti...
