I think I might try a spacer and longer bolt. I am really pleased with the guitar so far. Just worried that the angle might bend or strip something when setting up or tearing down after a gig in a dark barroom.

Carter Starter pedal attachment

Been playing for about a year and finally bought a Carter Starter. The pedal board clamps to the legs via wingnuts and a flat slotted piece of steel. I don't like the way they angle out when attached, has anyone ever changed or modified this with any success. I started out on a Fender 1000 and I kno...

Ben, As the guy who Eddie sold the guitar to I can attest that is the manual. Eddie, can't thank you enough, I have graduated to a Carter starter, but the sound of the 1000 through a blues Jr. is perfect for the band I play with. Bob, really anxious to hear what you come up with and hear a clip of it.

Hi, New to the forum and the Pedal Steel too. Once when I made a monsterous mistake of mashing the wrong pedals, I stood up and moved my guitar a couple inches down to the left and then sat back down and continued. I stole that from Victor Borge. Everyone laughed and all was OK.
