FS: Nord Electro 2 + ATA Flight Case - SOLD: PLEASE CLOSE
Excellent condition Nord Electro 2 (61 key) for sale. You probably know what this is - the best keyboard for piano, electric piano, and organ. I love it, but I just can't justify keeping it for how little I play it these days. Everything works, sounds, and looks perfect. Includes matching red custom...

FYI - Gibson Prototype for Sale??
I've got no idea who's selling this, or any dog in the hunt, but it looks like it might be interesting for someone on the forum.
It's a strange PSG - I don't know quite what it is...

For Sale or Trade: Nashville 400 w/ Black Widow - SOLD
Works great, solid as a rock, of course. I'd also be willing to trade for a good quality keyboard amp (but that's probably about it as far as trades go). Asking $425 shipped, or $375 for local pickup in Buffalo. Donation will be made to the board, too. Feel free to ask any questions - thanks! http:/...

Who is this steel player?
I stumbled across this strangely wonderful David Byrne performance. David Byrne is such a weirdo, but I love him for just about everything he does. This is definitely a 'love it or hate it' performance. Anyhow, there is a crazy pedal steel solo at 3:40 - I've never heard the instrument used in this ...

Maybe this isn't the right place for this (flag if so), and of course, no dog in the hunt, but through 10/28, 15% off $145 plus free shipping on a Carter Accessory pack (Carter Volume Pedal, tone bar, two cables, and picks) at Music 123: http://www.music123.com/Carter-Accessories-Pack-429850-i113496...

Deluxe Memory Man - SALE PENDING - PLEASE CLOSE
I'm cleaning out a bunch of stuff these days. More to come in the future... Original 1970s Electro Harmonix Memory Man - 5 knob version. Works great! Has its share of wear for a 30+ year old pedal, but it works perfectly. I've owned it for the past 6 or 7 years, but it's not getting used much these ...

Gear for Sale - SOLD
Time to simplify things around here! I'm getting rid of a bunch of stuff, more to come in the upcoming days. Hopefully this stuff will all be of use to someone. I'll just say a flat $7 for shipping, whether you buy one or many items. Donation goes to the forum, too, after all is sold. Feel free to e...

Electro-Voice RE-20 - SOLD
Works great! Legendary mic. I don't have the clip (I use another mic's shockmount for this one), but they're available online for about $20 (http://www.garrett-smarthome.com/proddetail.php?prod=EV-81715). I'd like to get around $300-ish. Feel free to ask any questions. Thanks! Doug http://bb.steelgu...

FS: Studio Preamps/EQs,
I just bought a house and man, I knew there would be expenses, but I had no idea! So I'm getting rid of a few things I don't need anymore. It's nice stuff, and I hope someone can find a home for it (all prices include a donation to the forum). And I'll just say a flat $10 for shipping and insurance ...

They're both standard E9. But the Fender is only 8 strings, so set up without the bottom two strings. There are two pulls for each pedal/lever on the Fender, though, and two each for the BMI, too. Maybe the changer on the Fender has less tension? Or maybe I just got used to the first PSG that I lear...

Recommendation - Pedal Steel Action like a Fender 400?
I'm still new at the PSG (and love it), but I have an issue. I started off with a Fender 400, which was a great guitar. I bought a BMI S-10, 3x4 which was a step up in terms of professionalism. However, I always liked the Fender more. I never quite got the feel for the BMI in the end and just sold i...

WTB: Recording Interface - 8+ channels?
I've outgrown my mBox, and I'm headed over to eBay in a minute to start shopping around, but I thought I'd try here first.
I need 8 channels, new or used is fine, just something that works with Logic or Protools. Preferably firewire/USB, but I'm open to other options as well.
Thanks!

Thanks to everyone who replied and offered suggestions. You know, I'm still new here, but am amazed by people's generosity. I probably received 20 offers, privately and publicly. I ended up going with a BMI S-10, 3x4, which arrived yesterday. It's a great guitar, and I think it'll last me for a long...

Discussion: Authenticity in Reissues vs. Poor Design
[This is a continuation of a conversation that started here: http://bb.steelguitarforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=156079]. Jon Light brought up the subject of the poor design of the original Fender Volume Pedal in servicing it, accessing the pedal through the submarine hatch on the bottom, which not only ...

Nope - the reissues still have that same submarine hatch. It doesn't make any sense for working on it, but I'm sure it makes it harder to build, too. You know, there's something to be said for keeping a reissue authentic, but then again, I don't really understand why it's necessary to keep a terribl...
