Here's my '66 Deluxe. It's loaded with a Joe Naylor Reverend Alltone speaker that sings like a bird.

Gibson BR-4 pickup
Are these pickups considered early P-90's? Are they similar to the Gibson Ultratone pickups in sound and shape?

Intonation issue
The intonation on the lowest string is off on three of my 6 string lap steels: BR-4, Magnatone, and B6. The strings gauges are .058 to .015 for open D and E. The barred note at the 12th fret on the lowest string is sharp (almost half a fret) compared to the harmonic. To compensate at the 12th and ot...

Replacement plates for bakelite B6 Ric
Hey you guys know where I can get replacement plates in plastic, wood, or chrome? I want to replace the white painted metal ones so I can preserve them since the paint chips off so easily.

Bakelite B6 neck bow
I just picked up this Ric B6 (~1940, 1.5"pu) and wanted to ask you guys a few questions. Neck relief on these bakelites, there's about a 1/16 gap above the top of the 8th fret under the straight edge. What's normal relief like on these? Are they supposed to be dead straight? (IMG_0031.JPG) The ...

1930's Oahu
I trying to find a 1930/1940 Oahu. All the ones I've seen have tuner issues. Is there a direct replacement for the 3-on-a-side tuners? Stewmac part #? And the wooden pickup cover, how are these removed from the guitar? Any issues to be aware of when buying one of these lap steels?
