Steve, I like the simplicity of this tuning method, and is definitely going to experiment with it.
Do you also use this method on the C6 neck? If so, what notes/strings do you adjust?

Steve, you mentioned using a Boss TU-2 tuner, and I would like to do the same, using the tuning that Lane and yourself describe. But how many cents is one light on a Boss TU-2? I am currently using a TU-3, which has more lights than the TU-2... so how many cents is one light on the TU-3? I found no ...

Volume pedal - lead level setting...
I'm often having trouble finding the right volume pedal level, when playing onstage. Especially the lead level. I play a lot of festivals on fairly big stages, and I often feel my lead level is too loud compared to when I'm not playing lead. I don't want to turn down my amp, because then I can't hea...

Lee, you're almost right. I ordered the pots from Tom monday morning, got them wednesday morning. Great service! Thanks for the offer, Torben, but I'm actually in San Francisco at the moment, so Tom was the obvious choice. I suppose there are even more pot dealers in Frisco than in Denmark, Paddy......

Where to buy new pot for Goodrich Volume pedal...
I need a new pot for my Goodrich L 120 volume pedal. Is there an online-shop somewhere that sells those pots? Europe or the states, either is good.

Bob, I'm just curious about the 2 amps-thing. Doesn't that create problems when you're playing in small places, with one amp considerably louder than the other? I only use one amp, and soundguys often ask me to turn it down during soundcheck. (And I really don't play insanely loud...) I'd guess that...

Ok. So now my feel stop is exactly at D and the C# on the 2nd string is also in tune. The C# lower on the 9th string is a bit sharp. I tuned it with the split screw but before it got to hit the C# pitch, the fixed lever stop stopped it... Does this mean I have to adjust the fixed stop to let the 9th...

How do I tune the half stop on the 2nd string
It's a Fessy D-10, my RKR has D#-D-C# (string 2) D-C# (string 9), (and C to C# on the C6th neck). I'm guessing it has something to do with the hex/split screws at the endplate?... If this topic has already been covered, please post a link.

Line selector. Need advice.
I usually play both a regular guitar and a pedal steel when I'm out playing gigs. I'm using the same amp for both, so I need some sort of line selector so I don't have to switch the cable every time i change instrument. The only one I know of is the Boss Line Selector. Do any of you have any experie...

Ricky, I'll try removing the raise spring when I get the time. Hopefully that helps... Your tutorial on tuning the springs is quite interesting. Are you saying that the return springs should be so tight, that the lower finger doesn't move AT ALL when raising a string?... Can you damage anything by t...

I checked the roller, and nothing's wrong there. Jim, I adjusted the stop and I think the pull rod has enough slack now. Also the lower finger doesn't extend further out than the others anymore. Ricky, there are raise springs attached to a bracket (hook on mechanism). It's not adjustable. I tried de...

Thanks for your reply Larry. The lower finger of that string does extend a bit further than the others. I can't push it further back, but I can, however, push the lower finger from side to side... Doing that doesn't really affect the pitch, though. In general, if I engage a raise, should the lower n...

Sho-Bud LDG problem....
When I use my E lever (E to D#) and release it again, the fourth string E-note comes back a bit sharp. It seems to me that the return spring for this string is pulling off. If this is the problem, how do I fix it?...
thanks,
A.K.
