Emerald
Thanks John. I am still considering it. I wish there was one nearby that I could try. I really like having instruments that I don’t have to worry about in terms of weather

https://bb.steelguitarforum.com/userpix2020-03/8144_D1E945D9982B4BBD927C828AEE0D67E8_1.jpg To clarify: these instruments may eventually be for sale but I am hoping to entice a trade for a style 3 or 4 National tricone with them. Yes I know
It was me who just bought it. Don was a highly respected and really well loved entrepreneur, luthier, and musician who worked for the Dopeyera brothers and eventually bought the National guitar patents and rebirthed the line putting out a variety of very high quality instruments. He passed away l In...

I have one..
It's primary value for me is getting a good enough Reso tone when playing in a loud band with drums. It is also really nice to be able to switch right over to a steel tone and add effects. I hope you enjoy it!!

Harmos tuners
For those that own a Harmos with the cantilever levers: the easiest technique that I have discovered to put strings on is to stand the instrument up on its end. Use a screwdriver to tighten the strings. This helped me to no longer struggle with the technique. I learned this from my friend Jake Wildw...

Problem solved
One of the adjusting screws that hold and lift the base was missing on my guitar when it arrived. I didn't think it was a big deal. When I spoke with Mitchell Smithey he graciously helped me figure out the problem. I put in a new 4-40 x7/8 screw tightened it up and problem solved. Thanks so much for...
