Thanks for the help. Sounds like Don is the guy. Mike-I did post a while back about the National. I was unable to find exact parts (either NOS or used), so I settled on making do with what I could find. I have a friend who plays steel among many other things and also does instrument repair. I was ab...

Hi...just finishing up a resto on a National D8 Console, and I really want to slap some legs on this thing... I know there used to be a resource on the forum for them... I need legs and sockets, preferably 4 of 'em. Anyone got an idea, or an old steel that they're parting out? Any information is app...

Someone did a serious hack job on this thing. I've managed to get as far as re-finishing and re-gluing the entire thing and now I'm trying...

Rich, I don't have the pots, switches, or anything except the pickups...they've been snipped as close as you could snip them...I'm just h...

national d-8 console parts...

Hi all, I'm fairly new to the steel, and have been playing non-pedals...I just bought an old National d-8 off of Fleabay, and kind of got taken for a ride. The whole thing is really jacked up, so I'm now looking for parts. I am especially in need of the tuning gears and the pots and knobs...if anyon...
