Check out the pre-show at Dixie Stampede featuring 4-time National Banjo champ Gary (Biscuit) Davis, Herby Wallace's son-in-law. They do about a 30 min show before the meal and the main Stampede show. John Thomas

I believe the guitar player was Junior (Junebug) Thomas who also played with Slim Idaho in Paul Howard's Arkansas Cotton Pickers. Hank Garland followed him in that band which also had Walter Haynes on fiddle.

What a shock! It is almost unbelievable that we have lost such a great human being. As others have said, his wit and talent were unmatched.
