You need to do more than what you are doing. Learn the melody. This done by learning scales, watch YouTube videos by Mickey Adams, steel picking. Plus find someone in your area to teach you. You have to work on all that. This instrument that you will never. No your instrument and your notes chords. ...

I have and heard Paul Franklin talk using .012 for the third string instead of th.010 or .011. My question is in regards to the fourth string, do you keep it the same as always or what gauge would you recommend?

Perhaps you also invest into a knob guard also. I have one on mine, and it is a lifesaver.

Peavey's are notorious. Nothing to worry about, every one I have owned has done that.

My favorite was The Wreck Of The Edmond Fitzgerald. Such a haunting and eerie song actuated by Pee Wee Charles playing the steel giutar.

Ray was truly a favorite. It was Amazing how from Lynchburg,Va could deliver on thos shuffle songs.

When my wife had a her milligram done the first time, Tommy talked to put my mind at ease. He was definitely one of the good good ones. He will be missed for sure.

I remember when my NV 400 was in for repair. And I borrowed Billy Tam's FET 500. The reverb was broke so I had to hook up my Pro Fex to it. And I was blown away by how warm it sounded.
