Bob,
You helped me so much over the past 12 years about tuning, chords, and playing the steel guitar that
I could never have learned without your help.
RIP my friend.

I also have spectrum and my $200 Plus Package does not include RFD. I called up Spectrum and they added RFD for $5 per month . The woman just threw a switch and I was connected. In the last week I watched Kaylon Roberts, Curly Chalker, Gary Carter, Gary Carter, and many more playing some excellent s...

I was very sad to hear of Bill Hankey's passing. The last time I traveled to Bill's Mass Bash was a very enjoyable day. After the steel show, Bill taked steel guitar with me for more than an hour. He then showed me his upright fret marker board...and then he asked me to try it out. I payed his steel...

Very sad news. Tom was a good friend and skilled craftsman. The last time I talked to him, he said he might expand his business to making covers for other instruments such as keyboards, accordions, and microphones. Anyone who ever spoke with him had a friend for life. Condolences to the family and R...

Usually I can't remember if i'm in my 70's or my 90's. I've had 2 heart operations, a stroke, hernias, cataracts, arthritis, poor circulation, blackouts, and memory loss. Some days I have no feeling in my hands or feet. But......thank God I still have my drivers license! (I have completed 74 trips a...

Regal RD-52 (dobro)
As I stated in the Peavey Slidomatic post...I had a stoke last year and can no longer play the PSG because of not being able to use my left leg and foot. 7 weeks ago I bought tried for the first time ever) a dobro guitar. Here's my take on a 1949 Eddy Arnold hit called: “Don’t Rob Another Man’...

Peavey Slidomatic Steel Guitar
Since I had my stoke last year I have been unable to play my Mullen PSG. I have lost most of use of my left leg and foot, and can't use the pedals or knee levers. So I picked up a Peavey Slideomatic Lap Steel. Here is my take on a 1940 song called "We Three" that was recorded by Inkspots: ...

Help is on the way
There is no problem finding the notes that Erv can't find on his piano if you follow this rule. Use the same tuning fluid with your piano that you use on your steel guitar. (it may take more than one bottle). Remember...up and left for flats, up and right for sharps! http://bb.steelguitarforum.com/u...

13 notes in scale
I have always believed there are 13 scale notes. Much of the new country music is written and played in the key of "L"...
at least it sure nuff sounds like "L"
