One of Don's grandsons let me know yesterday that he would like to have the lap steel. It would have been nice if I had been told sooner but I am glad that it will stay in the family. Thanks for all who showed interest.

sound clip
If I had any idea how to play enough for a sound clip, I would keep it. My husband was the one who played and he passed a couple of months ago. Sorry that I can't help with a better description.

I can't really express in words how the news of Carl's passing June 4th affected me. I have memories of our times of sharing. He will live on forever in my mind as a premium gentleman and talented musician on many instruments besides the steel guitar, I'm honored to have called Carl a friend. http:/...

My own love of the sound of the steel guitar started in the late 1940s when I bought some records by the Al Kealoah Perry Hawaiian group (I probably spelled his name wrong) and because of my love for country music, Little Roy Wiggins with Eddy Arnold, Don Helms with Hank Senior, Pee Wee Whitewing an...

Using MP3s for storing & playing rhythm tracks
Mornin' all,
I'd like to use an MP3 for storing rhythm tracks and have a couple questions for those of you who may do that. What brand/model MP3 player do you recomend and why, and which input do you plug it into on your amp... high or low gain. Thanx!!
