When I set my Volume and Master Volume at 4 my SE200 is extrmely loud. Is their a possibility their might be a issue with my Master pot? The taper from 0-1.5 is extreme.

BMI Steel

This 1976 serial#240 BMI sounds incredible! I scored it for one hell of a price. Nice reading about other players that are fans of these wonderful instruments. https://bb.steelguitarforum.com/userpix2020-03/7619_20210515_123545_2.jpg https://bb.steelguitarforum.com/userpix2020-03/7619_20210616_09073...

I have owned a Emmons for years but I couldn't resist picking up this old S-10. Would anyone happen to have any idea when this was made?

Sano 250R wiring

I have a really great Sano 250R amp that has an accordian channel. It boasts 2 x 12" speakers, which I replaced with an Altec 417-8H and a JBL D-120 and it sounds superb. The reverb is a little much for me, though. Hey Mike! I just acquired a mid 70's all tube Sano 250R and I was hoping someon...

I have been thinking about taking my Altec 15" speaker out of my old Gretsch Nashville Pro Steel amp and putting it in my late 60's Twin Reverb. It sounds great with that amp for guitar and pedal steel. I am just hoping it will fit.

I heard that before about Fender never throwing anything away. I do have a pic of my amp on an earlier thread. It looks to me like mine used to have the aluminum trim. I think someone has removed it. Have you ever seen a 68 twin with the JBL plate on the grill without the trim? Just curious.

The drip edge Twins like the earlier black face models, have a baffle screwed in from the rear. You have to pull the rear pannels, chassis, reverb tank bag and remove the speakers to to get it out safely. You will then see the screws hold it in around the edges. It is possible to leave the speakers...

I have no link to this, but thought I would list it for those interested in restoring a 1968 Fender grill.

I just went to this website and there are a lot of different sizes of trim to choose from. Could you point me in the right direction as far as what size/style to get? Thanks a milli...

That looks very similar to the Oahu Style 68K De Luxe Jumbo Guitar that I picked up on eBay last year.
