Black Fessenden SD10 (Sold)

Want to sell my 2008 black Fessenden SD10. It is Emmons set up, and is original how it came from the factory. Some of you may remember I had an issue with the rear apron bowing. The apron still has the bow but it does not affect play; with the help from Jerry I was able to correct it, but if you hav...

Its basically all on strings 345 For the Old Man part you use string 4 and start at fret 5 up to 10. That is half the song right there. The next part and probably the toughest is the middle where you will use strings 345 on frets 8 and 10. it goes something like fret 10 open, then fret 8 open then m...

My only concern with a phone app is that when you no longer have the phone, you no longer have the app. Better to get a real tuner and be done with it. If you decide you want to sell a real tuner later on, you can. You can't sell the app. Same reason I won't pay the ridiculous price for an iPhone ve...

I had a SpiderIII cab once and while it did everything you could want as far as effects, it did not do it well. This kind of soured me on Line6 products. Have not tried the POD so can't comment on that.

I use an old computer case. Its a softside, but it does the job. It has a shoulder strap so I can carry it along with the roc-n-soc seat in one hand and the steel in the other.

looks like a pull release with an interesting string-thru-the-finger. For 200 bucks how could you go wrong?

Copying vs Converting: if you are simply copying an already mastered disc you can burn it in a matter of minutes using one of the duplicators you mentioned. If you are coverting formats the process will always take longer.

Converting can take a long time depending on how fast your processor is and how much memory you have. As far as I know this is normal.

For me to convert a one and a half hour movie from capture to Mpeg-2 it can take up to 2 or 3 hours for the movie to convert on my Mac G4 with Dual Gig processors.

Thanks for correcting me Tony. Is that all they did was lower 2? Or did they raise 8 also? I think the maverick would be great if it had a second knee so you could lower and raise the E's. I would get rid of the 2 string pull, but that's just what I would do if I bought it. A friend of mine has a Pr...

I am assuming the kl changes strings 4 and 8 - it either lowers 8 and raises 4 or vice versa. A standard copedent both raises and lowers both e's. Other than that, the pedals should be the same. You will be missing some changes that would require you to find another way to play a chord but I'm sure ...

I've noticed one or two players on YouTube – one in particular who is much-admired on this forum – performing a 'walking' action with their left-hand pinkie finger, especially when going down the neck. They stretch out a finger to pre-locate a point one or two frets down, then shift the bar to it. ...

Database as a service

Need to know what it is: are there any sites that explain what it is and how it is used? Or any books on the subject?
