Parts for BMI

I was thinking about adding a 4th pedal to my BMI. Its a mid-80s model. I know I could buy a kit direct from BMI, but its $130+shipping and I don't know if I want to spend that on something that I may not even like.

Does anyone have any extra parts lying around?

http://video.teamcoco.com/video/conan.jsp?oid=245831&eref=sharethisUrl John Neff and the Truckers were on Conan last night. There is a link to the video. John if you read this and don't mind answering, what is your 4th pedal used for? I noticed you had it on your Rains and now on your Mullen also.

I have always received better service than that from the Peavey service department. I would call again and explain the situation a bit better to them, they are usually ready to help in every way they can. I had heard nothing but good things from you guys about the service department, which was why ...

Question for Mike Brown (or anyone else that can help)

I broke a pot off of my Nashville 112. I called Peavey to get a replacement, and they wanted to know the rating written on the pot and all kinds of information that I don't have without taking the amp apart now. Peavey emailed me the schematic and told me to pick out the part and call them back. I a...

Mr Neff,

Do you know how much steel is going to be on the 2nd DBT record released later this year?

I saw them a few weeks ago. I don't believe Mr Neff played any steel on the new songs, but that doesn't mean there won't be some on the album.

Thanks for asking/answering this. I asked in another thread but didn't get an answer yet.

To my beginner ears, it sounded like he was playing some lap steel licks in there. Did I hear correctly?

What about the steel player for Jamey Johnson? It seemed like he was playing lap steel licks but his steel had pedals on it. Anybody know anything about this?

My first steel was a 12 string because I found a used 12 string pro-model cheaper than I could get a 10 string student model. I had already been playing on a borrowed 10 string for a few months, so I just adjusted for the extra 2 strings and moved along.

Have you tried any of the iPhone guitar tuners that is out now? I saw where Peterson has one. The Cleartune one supports tempered tunings. I haven't used any of them, and they seem like they'd be useless except for sitting in your bedroom, but they are neat nonetheless.

Very comfortable and no slip. The 6 red and 6 black lets me use 1 of each color and I won't have to look for the index finger pick . Just grab the black one and put it on. Thats a great idea. I wish I had thought of it. I've only ordered 1 set so far. Maybe next week I'll order a 2nd set in a diffe...

Thanks for the input. Of the 3, the one that sounded the least appealing was the '15 ways from I to IV.' The DeWitt Scott book would probably suffice with ways to get from chord to chord.

Need some opinions on some instructional material

I've been playing about a year and a half I'm considering getting some more instructional material, and I'd like some opinions on the following items, all for sale on the forum store: Dewitt Scott's "Back up behind the Singer" - One of the things I have having the most trouble with is play...
