Bill so you are suggestion to isolate the eights I can leave the 15 open in back so as not to over power the eights? Teh amp and speaker cabinet will be made out of mfd board with a wood veneer over that. The reason for the 15 inch is I'm building a 12 string lap with the lower 4 being actual bass s...

Janglebox vs Tech 21 Liverpool
I wanted to update all of you or is it you all who have read this thread and saw what I had stated about the Janglebox. Let me begin by saying that the Janglebox is very well built very quite and great for what it does, but it just did not do what I wanted for a lap guitar. So I picked up one of my ...

Got the Janglebox last night had some problems with it, by that I mean it is particular with cables and guitars. I was using a 37 national with the amphoral plug and it did not like it along with some cheap older guitar cables. Got a lot of noise buzz hiss you name it. So tonight I hooked up the Bro...

Should have the box next week will do some comparisons and let everyone know my opinion. The laps I will be using are vintage since I have not finished my 12 string with a humbucker wired to a five way switch. Ultimatly I'm hoping for that early Beatles jangle so to say. Like on ticket to ride. I kn...

That thing reminds me of a corncob harmonica. By that I mean they make a harmonica that has I think six different harmonicas of different keys. It has what looks like those dohickies on the ends that you put on the ends of a ear of corn to hold on to. You can spin it around to different keys without...

I'm in the process of building basslap guitar 12 string. I'm planing on having 4 bass strings and then 8 regular strings above that. I'm looking at open g,d and c6 for the tunings. I have found information on the string gauges for the lap side but do not know the bass progression from the lowest lap...
