This guitar is as I understand a 1958 , there is J58 under the tuner pan. It is in good condition, with some dings on the finish and wear on bottom as indicated. Thanks gents, I guess it is a 58 and I will have to get an appraisal done for sure, as I did not pay a lot for the guitar, but I'm loving it and would try and replace it if destroyed or stollen

Just bought a Fender 8 String Steel and from other information in the forum I guess it is a Fender Deluxe. I removed the tuner pan and inside there was a 6-58 which I suspect is June 1958, there is also what looks like a writing letter J. I would like to know if my assumptions are correct and if any...
