There will be three very happy winners, for sure! I took delivery of my SFTM DVD 2 weeks ago and my wife hasn't seen me since! It is a VERY detailed look at a classic tune. I cannot recommend it highly enough for the many of you out there who began with Cindy Cashdollar's Western Swing, vol's 1 and ...

Hey Carl, The red button is a volume cut-off. The black button is a tone cut-off. I'm not sure that the idea is behind the volume button, but the tone button can be used to create kind of a poor man's Speedy West bar slam. Mine is a '57. I love it. I play it through a narrow panel tweed Pro. Mark. h...

I'm new to steel, but have been playing shows in the Bay Area for 30 years. I spent the 90's backing a very gifted Little Walter style harmonica player. No nerves there because I wasn't the attraction, but it was a great way to get my stage legs. One time I was hired to back a locally legendary harp...

I believe this is the same style cable connection as an Astatic JT-30 bullet mirophone. Harmonica players use these almost exclusively and the cables are very common in harmonica catalogs. I have 2 15-footers still in the plastic. I think you can buy them on-line at Harp Depot. Or I could be complet...

If you want to get Fender Tweed Pro sound without having to take out a second mortgage, you might consider a Victoria 35115. The quality of a Victoria is second to none. The sound is absolutely faithful to the original. And Victoria amps are truely an investment just like the original Fenders. A pat...

Gibson 530 console on ebay: Bid closed at $800
Howdy All, I'm a rookie, so I need a little help regarding a Gibson 530 console ( eBay item 190213288226 ). Can anyone provide a general overview of this guitar? I have been looking for a clean Fender Dual Professional. How does this Gibson compare? It looks like this may be a longer scale? Do they ...

New member / infant non-pedal steeler needs some advice!
Howdy All!! My name is Mark. I just joined the Forum this weekend. After wasting the last 30+ years playing fretted instruments (Swing/Blues guitar) I finally built a (very) rough 8-string lap at home about a month ago. I bought the Cindy Cashdollar CDs for a primer and have been having a GREAT TIME...
