Rob, My Session 500 misbehaves in this way from time to time as well. I usually correct it by simply unplugging, cleaning, then re-attaching the connectors to the circuit boards. This lasts for a while before acting up again. My next step is to chop off the connectors, and solder the wires directly ...

As a temporary fix, I find that good-ole WD-40 does the trick quite well.... but a scratchy pot will have to be replaced.

Greg, The NV112 is a great, little amp. It works really well (out front) when miced, but you'll need it turned up in the monitors to hear what's comin out on the stage. I mostly use my Session 500 (weighs a ton) and rarely need it in the monitors at all.
