I'd certainly suggest Ricky Davis. Did a great job on mine a couple of years ago. Knows what he is doing and very patient when dealing with my questions...:)

Don't know what bar he uses but from the videos I have seen...he could probably use a lifter from a 1963 Chevy 327 and sound great

My Bud

6139 Cooped up by Ricky Davis...both gentlemen did a great job because this guitar had been in an attic for 20 years all WD40'd up...was ugly..believe me

Carl's big tuning wrench

Just received my tuning wrench from Carl yesterday...outstanding...sure beats the 3/16 nut driver I was using...a little over 1 1/2 inches in length...good job Carl! If you don't have one you might want to check it out. http://bb.steelguitarforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=145003&sid=b81b99400422abaa57...

I had John Coop make the parts and Ricky Davis do the rebuild...couldn't be happier with the way both gentlemen do business and the results to my Bud...I suggest contacting then for pricing...like others have mentioned...ever project is different.

Hey John, Believe me...I have looked at your pictures of that beautiful steel many times before I sent mine to Ricky...funny...I have never cared for the color green in anything, clothes, cars, etc....but I do like this old green steel. If I had to choose between the red and green...I would take one ...
