For Sale- Nashville LTD SD-10 (Rittenberry)
Fine instrument I purchased from a forum member last year. I hate to sell it, but the band has broken up, and I need to sell some instruments. Built by Gary Rittenberry in 1992. 3 pedals, 4 levers, standard E9 Emmons setup. Nice case, cover, and expression pedal. Have detailed pics for interested pa...

Nice Banjo !
That does look like a fine instrument, but I agree, coming up with a reasonable offer would be tough.

Before He Cheats
David- One of my bands does that song, but I play piano on it. We do it in F# minor. I've never played steel on it. Maybe some of the licks you need I do on piano. Any one in particular you need ?

Your First Steel
Several people told me when I was researching my first steel purchase to go with no less than a 10 string guitar with minimum 3 pedals and 4 knee levers. I purchased just such a guitar from a Forum member, and can tell you that I found this to be very good advice. Start with a single neck, you can l...

Theory Question
Carl, the notes of the F# blues scale are very similar to the A major scale, as the blues scale is a minor scale, and F# minor is the relative minor of A major. Stated more simply, the F# blues scale contains the notes A C# and E, which are the 3 notes of an A chord. That's pretty much why your idea...

Cats and Steels
Mike P, maybe the cat could use a .22 caliber slug for a steel. I guess technically, cats have built-in fingerpicks. Cool picture !

Steel Cats
Put some party hats or something else lightweight on top of your cover that the cats won't want to sit on. The triangular Fed Ex bax in the last picture would be perfect to keep them off. I have 2 cays, but the've never sat on my steel, because I always play Hound Dog on it before I put the cover ba...
