Karen,

I'm curious if you resolved the hum issue with your pedal unit. Does your reverb device have a place to insert and use a battery?

Thanks Clint Hey Clint, Found your post and wonder if you solved your hum issue. I've worked on many Fender tube amps and occasionally there's one that will hum m...

Hey Clyde, When I was a very young musician I never gave any attention to speaker wiring except that the + wire went to the + terminal on the speaker and conversely. And I found that thru the years that sometimes when I played especially near a bass player's cabinet, my guitar sounded great and with...

Terry I love your signature line from Jim Williams :) Speaking of caps, other than Sprague Atoms, have you used the TAD or F&T brands ? Thoughts? Yes Carl, I have used the Atoms for many years without issues but, their extraordinary price increases have forced me to look harder at alternatives....

Yes, the Fender Blues Jr has a fixed bias circuit and can be adjusted. If you have a tech you use, make sure he knows what instrument you use and how you like it set up. If you have a current tech that knows how to set it up, you are better off employing their skill (a Fender certified tech will kno...

Yeah, their ad has some questionable entries but, the design principle is probably ok but, I would question my need for the application. If I were having some impedance bridging issues to overcome and my discretionary money pile is disposable enough then, sure maybe. I would want to see it in action...

I've been using CAIG Laboratories' Deoxit D100 in the shop for many years and it works; I believe all their products are probably good but, some have a specifically targeted application that should be noted. The D100 will not damage the conductive plastic pots as well and lubricates. I use it on all...

Hello Guys, I really like the drawing Scott included on this Steel Buffer project. The reverse current battery protection is a plus, especially if no mechanical safeguard is built in place to prevent battery or polarity reversal. I always hate changing out batteries and using a standard diode really...
