1985 OMI D60 Dobro and Original Case For Sale $900

I bought an OMI dobro in excellent condition as a backup. It looks like it has barely been out of the case in the last 30 years. The case looks brand new. It hasn't been altered in any way. I am assuming original nut/bridge and cone. Great sounding! Decided to thin the herd a bit. Buyer pays shippin...

Thanks Scott

I contacted Jim at that number. He sent me on a "google" quest. lol...Very nice guy and knowledgable. Thank you for your help on this Scott. I love the sound of this National and don't want to change the characteristics unless it's for the better. My 1949 needs to sing again. Take care Mike

restoring the National

Was wondering if you're the gentleman who had posted several months ago about restoring your National. I am getting ready to do the same and would love to pick your brain on the process. Hoping to find period correct: switches caps tuning gears etc.. Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated. ...

national D8

It's been a great steel. I have used it now for about 7 years. Unfortunately, some of the tuning gears are shot, and the switches work only sometimes. Thought I would try to find the gentleman who completely went through his and get some "lessons learned" training. lol.... They are certain...

Rebuilding a National D8 console

Several months ago, there was a gentleman who was rebuilding his D8 console and had pics and the process he went through. Well, I'm getting ready to do the same and would love to get his name and pick his brain. Thanks in advance.... Mike http://bb.steelguitarforum.com/userpix1029/7156_national_stee...

Early 1930's round neck Dobro w/case

Well, it’s time to thin out the herd a bit and get some Christmas money ready for the family. I have an early 1930’s Dobro brand round neck. This has been my main guitar for the road in the late 90’s. It is certainly a players guitar and not a museum showpiece. Thee has been some repair to the neck ...

New Roadcase Foam

I just finished refoaming some roadcases and have some extra case foam left over. This is the high quality gray foam. There are two pieces: 1 inch thick -- 54" X 72" sell for $50 2 inch thick -- 54" X 72" sell for $80 or both for $120 Would prefer to sell locally (Nashville area)...

Ray,
Sorry for the late response. I haven't checked my forum mail in a couple days. I live in Nashville and would prefer sale within a reasonable distance from here.
Thanks

How about $1199 and a strong cup of coffee thrown in?

Would like to see this steel go to a happy home. Unfortunately, with the economy it might have to stay here a bit longer. I'm willing to live with that but would still like it to see some good use. If you have cash in your hand and a local sale, I would consider a slightly less amount. I need to buy...

Charlie,
These steels are made in Japan. Excellent workmanship and are sold through Scottys in St Louis area.
Russ Weaver set this up Emmons style.
