Using FX loop...
I have a Fender Steel King and a Peavey TubeFex and I would like to use the FX loop on the FSK. On the rear side of the FSK there are FX Send and FX Return. Same possibilities on my TF, but I don´t know how to connect. The TF manual doesn´t tell me how to get along. If I do it wrong I might cause ...

Putting things together...
Together with my Emmons D10 I´m using a Hilton vol.ped, a Tubefex, Boss RV3 and a Twin Reverb 65 Reissue, sometimes a Fender Steel King. To get the most and the best out of it, in what order would you suggest to put them together? Yes, I´m using the tubes within the Tubefex. I would appreciate if ...

Building chords...
I once had it but now it´s gone and I´ve lost track of it. It is a program where you can register your copedant and from that you can see how to build a chord on, for example, first fret or the eight fret and so on. Is there someone out there who knows what I am talking about please give me a hint...

The Post Gain knob on my TF doesn´t work like it used to. I can´t feel the start position or the stop position. I can wind the knob around and around as many laps as I want. I haven´t tried it but I assume I can. The red lights though is giving me a hint of when I´m at the top position. Is this ...

Lynn Stafford and Bob Littleton
He has done it again, Lynn Stafford of Portland Oregon. He has restored my Emmons pedal steel guitar and, as usual, done an incredible job. He has replaced some parts and other parts are polished. The guitar is like new, it sounds wonderful, looks beautiful, but most of all, it is mine. I can not th...

Sid, I´ve always thought that I had the right tunes out of my guitar and I can´t remember any complains heard from anyone. Maybe they were just polite, who knows? In order to try to learn how to program my Peterson I aimed at you´r way of tuning the guitar. When I was done, I had a guitar with a ...

... I Think I´ve solved my tuning problem. I eased the nylon tuner and spacer as much as I could and tuned 1st string to F#, then I put rod to a new hole in bell crank, i fact the last hole. I pushed the RKL and tuned 1st string to G#, released the RKL and found 1st string at F#. I kept doing so ove...

I have difficulties in tuning my first string
When I tune it Open, there´s no problem, I got my F#. Problems occur when tune it using RKL, raising from F# to G#. When I tune it to G# and I check F# on Open, I´m almost down to F. I tune it to F# again and lose my G# on RKL. No change of strings or gauge is done. But I can see the Hex tuner and t...

Thank you Dick, and keep up the good work. When I did a print out of the files I got from you, I couldn´t imagine the number of pages, fills and licks there were. Those pages is something that must be useful for any steelpicker, newbie or master. Now it´s all up to me to learn and remember as many a...

I´ve had my Live Steel Strings for over a week now and I am impressed. They really are different from what I´ve tried earlier. I experience a better sustain, a warmer sound and that´s what I aim for, I even think they´ve got a better/higher lustre. One more advantage is that I can configure or custo...
