FS: All Original Mint 69 Telecaster with Bigsby

This one is something else. I bought it from the original owner who'd basically left it in its case all this time. The guitar is impeccable and 100% original. Not even a scratch to be found anywhere. Looks absolutely stunning. Comes with original (mint) Fender hard case, original sales receipt from ...

I just got the album and I for one think it's great. The production is very original and well done, and I think that Dawson's playing is quite tasteful. I'm not good enough a player to have a judgement on how technical or not it is, but it's sure more than I can do. I'll say this: it's refreshing to...

Philippe, US prices and Canadian prices can hardly be compared, even with the dollar at par. Something happens in the transaction, you know, same trouble as what we had with more expensive greeting cards and magazines that were US made...one price for US and a much higher one for Canada. Same goes ...

Phillippe If your Vegas 400 is for sale lets get together on this . Give me a yes or no please . Murray Hi Murray. I think I'll keep the amp for now. Sorry about that. I was looking for something smaller and lighter, but the reviews I read about the 112 aren't stellar, so I should try one before sw...

Hey Glenn. I just sent you an email. I am well. Still playing the LDG, though I just got a brand new Fulawka that is just a dream to play.

I looked online and couldn't find anything. They list the 112 for 579 USD and have no used ones. http://www.guitarcenter.com/Peavey-Nashville-112-1x12-80W-Amp-104003405-i1145614.gc Would they just not be listed then? There is a very cheap (199$!) Nashville 400 in Beaumont, Texas if anybody's close!!

I'll take a look at the instructional stuff, thanks. Is it mostly used for licks or chord work, then? Any example of something that uses it?

thanks a lot

Hi Buz Thanks. Yeah, I've been toying with whether to sell it or not. As I wrote, I was willing to add money to the deal for a 112, though I've seen a couple go for sale locally for around 400-450 used. The Vegas is indeed very heavy, and that's the major drawback for me at this point. I do gig out ...

Steel Lessons in Québec?
Do any of you know of anyone who'd be willing to give a few pointers in person, or teach an actual lesson once in a while?

What do you use the Franklin pedal for?

Just got a new steel and it has the Franklin pedal. How do you usually use it?

Thanks

FS Peavey Vegas 400 PLEASE CLOSE

I have a very nice Vegas 400 that's hardly been out of the house. Was recently given a clean bill of health by my local amp tech. Has the 15" Black Widow speaker. Would sell outright or trade for a Nashville 112 (and money depending). Please get in touch with me at steve_chiro at hotmail dot com

Thanks for the tips and suggestions gentlemen. As for the type of music I play, well, I use the pedal steel for all-out country. I guess with the lap steel I'd qualify it as ambiant/moody pop and alt-country. Amps? I've tried a bunch: Brownface Fender Vibroverb, BF Deluxe, Peavey Vegas 400, etc. I u...

Phillipe, I have a Supro Supreme from 1952 (a very similar model, same pickup type), and I kind of agree with you - these National/Valco/Supro lap steels with the string-through-pickup tends to be a bit hot, bright and aggressive - that's why this model is very popular with blues/rock players who u...

Odd comment as I could say E9 PSG all sounds shrill, nasal, thin, high-pitched,and whining to me. But that's just me. MLA Didn't mean to insult anyone... That's why I'm asking if it's the instrument or me. Thanks for the suggestions. I've tried to mess around with the controls and amp settings--it'...
