Palm pedal parts

I want to build a 6 string lap steel with some palm and/or foot pedals. I have a Telecaster with a hipshot B and g bender on it. I play it in standard tuning on a stand, like a lap and it's limited. I love it, but I want to build a lap with more bending options, either pedals or palm levers. Like th...

re Duesenberg video

I just viewed the video with no problems or passwords. It looks like the machine i've been dreaming about lately. I have a telecaster with a G and B-bender which I play lap style on a stand. It's very limiting in it's configuration. Have been looking at maybe a 10 string Pedal too. But this will def...

re Conversion rates etc

re Conversion rates etc The Dekley in question is already in Australia, a 2 hour drive from where I live. So the the other two I would have to to ship to Oz and pay freight, tax and import duty on. So the bottom line for me in Oz is similar for the 3 PSG's mentioned. Also, unfortunately all this stuf...

Thanks again SGF people. I am still churning over all the advice and comments and after contact with Doug Earnest at Zumsteel, am starting to lean that way a little. ( a lot really) Will make a decision soon after the "Tamworth Country Music Festival" in New South Wales, Australia, which s...

re 40 year Dekley verses new Zum Stage 1 and Carter starter

Could anybody give me an opinion on this 40 year old Dekley, (Url below),verses a new Zumsteel Stageone or a new Carter Starter. It's on E-bay australia in Aus$. The price would be similar for any of the 3 with freight to Aus, + duty + tax on the new ones. About $1300 U.S. [url] http://cgi.ebay.com....

Newby jargon help

Hi all,
as a complete newby to PSG, I am learning the terminology and jargon.
Is there a good page or website for a glossary of terms and jargon.

Also do 6 or 8 string PSG's exist. Plenty of non pedals I know. Any 6 or 8's
with pedals and knees?

regards
jeremy :)

re help and advice

Thanks a heap for all your input guys! My gut tells me the Carter is the way to go. ( and most of the advice too!) The Harlin and Dekley are in Oz, and the Carter I would get shipped over. Cost wise, the Carter is competitive too, and new. Will take on all suggestions for Aussie members and websites...

re Carter starter

Hi Bill,
Is there any problems with the instrument and how old is it?
Why are you selling?
would you be willing to ship it to Australia?
I'll pay the cost of course.
I'm new to this forum. Do you have any high profile referees
on the forum?
thanks and regards
