Thanks guys! They (Sirius/XM) absolutely screwed us again. I've had a subscription for a few years now and WP was the only station I listened to. Now everything they play I can hear for free any day of the week. I dont understand it??

The judgements are a little harsh dont you think??

I agree with my man Johnny Cox and a few others. Finally some traditional country music programming worth a crap and ya'll are ready to "pull the plug". Ive been to both of the recordings and despite a few issues have been real pleased with whats made it to TV. Its one of the shows i actua...

Chuck, Its nice to have team players to work with, and I know Danny to be one. Just thought I'd give you a little good natured grief on the forum. As you know we, Landon Dodd and the Dancehall Drifters, started Thursday nights at The Finish Line Club in Fort Worth. We play from 7:30-11. The crowd is...

Funny Stories - "guest singers" -

I thought I had learned my lesson on this but evidently not. We were doing a gig in San Angelo a month ago and had some friends come out to see us. Three or four of them singers/musicians so I asked them to do a song or two. No big deal. As the last guy was leaving the stage I saw a "frat boy&q...

Live Music in S.A.

Tell her check out Tra's Country. It's on O'Connor in northern San Antonio. Here's a link to the website. They mostly book Traditional Country so the steel guitar is a given in most cases. http://www.trascountry.com/tras_country_008.htm

Gretsch G3100 Historic Series $400

Enough is Enough

Seems to me that most of the Top 40 "Country" and some of the "Texas Country" is bad Rock n' Roll. I don't have anything against some Rock n' Roll now and again but just call it what it is. If I hear one more "Tx" artist sing about tacos, I-35 and a college road trip I ...
