Fender Stringmaster Four Neck For Sale

Hi. Some of you know me from a few years back. I am the owner of a 1953 (6-4-53) Fender four neck stringmaster, long scale. I love this piece of early Fender history but have come to the hard decision to put it up for sale. Because of my other musical persuits it has ended up sitting in a closet and...

Mahalo Ron and Bobby

Ron My wife and I just wanted to say thanks for a fantastic evening last week at the Marriott. It was great to finally meet you in person and I thank you for taking the time out to come down from the North Shore for a very memorable evening. I hope we can do it again one day. Bobby Ingano I was a pl...

I love playing it. I am not very good, but I keep plugging away. The date inside the tuning pan cutaway is 6-4-53 but I never found the SN.

In my case, I didn’t ask to be a curator. As a matter of fact, I accumulated a couple extra guitars from my band playing days. I gave them to my sons and my collection was reduced down to one electric, one acoustic guitar and one amp. I would have gotten rid of my PA system if somebody in the area o...

Tom I lived in Maryland for over 20 years. I moved to Virginia about 18 months ago. Now on to your question. I just cleaned my late father's Fender Quadmaster. It was in pretty bad shape with a lot of build up of dirt and grime. I used hot soapy water. I dipped a terry cloth into the water with the ...

Ron As much as I sincerely respect you for all the help you have provide to me, I really do feel you are off base on this. In my opinion, I consider the HSGA a “professional” organization. By this I consider it as an “institution” for the promotion and a melting pot of the instrument and the wonderf...

Need A Tab

Howdy I need the tab for the original version of "Steelin the Blues" by Jerry Byrd. The search I performed on the forum only turned up for pedal. I know a knowledgeable soul has this handy to help out a new steel guitar player. You can never go wrong with the classics. Thanks In Advance Sa...

Alan I forgot it wasn’t an original case but none the less, a very fine job. I am not sure if the case I have for the quad is original but it has several layers of black spay paint. I will post some pictures this evening. It I was to restore it, I think I would go with a tweed cover with red interio...

What did you use to take off the old glue on the case? You have me thinking about restoring the case I have for my Fender Quad.

Fred

You might want to try "GlueGone". It is a very mild adhesive remover. I have used it a lot on my motorcycles and some wood products. You can pick it up in most auto parts stores.

OK I'll bite. Is it a legitimate auction? I saw it posted a couple of days ago on ebay and rember the string saying it was a scam. Having been scammed in the past on e-bay I look for certain things to determine a legitimacy of a non-line business. And until you see the cargo sitting on your doorstep...
