What are you looking for? I have and Emmons SD-10 and a Fender steel king amp that I would be willing to part with if you're into them.

Thanks for advice, I'm not much of a gearhead I only used the wound string because it just happened to be in my case. I do still have the old string and it's is a plain one and it feels heavier to the touch than the new string. I'll be going to the music store tomorrow for a new .022.

Thanks again.

Thanks Bobby, that really narrows down the year for me. It's black mica, I guess that would qualify as a popular colour.

Greg Liesz is one of my favorite steel players, he sounds awesome when he plays with Tiger Army.
He is one of my major insipations and a major reason why I decided to take up pedal steel myself.

I noticed your guitar on ebay the other day and I thought it was totally fishy, who sells a pedal steel with no pedals?
I hate thieves, I hope they catch buddy who stole it and lock him up for a long time. Best of luck to you getting your guitar back.

Bo, I'm just starting out at the pedal steel myself and I've had to learn a lot on my own. I've been lucky to meet another steel player (Jim you're the man) who's been passing on tips and support. I learn more in a few hours with him than I learn in months of practicing to DVD's and chord charts on ...

I watched a pedal steel player play at Legends on Broadway on a Sunday afternoon. I was so impressed and inspired from watching him play that the next weekend I went out and bought myself a pedal steel.
