Tony Francis Style 4 Weissenborn *Spoken For / Sale Pending*
This Style 4 Weissenborn copy is everything you would expect from one of Tony Francis' creations. The back, top, sides, and fretboard are of course old growth air-dried Koa. Holly & Cocobolo make up the binding and the bridge is flawlessly carved from tiger striped Sugar Maple which holds a bone...

A friend to all....
Here's to you Steinar, I'll remember you as a big, big man.
Thank you for your gentle, unselfish encouragement and wisdom over the years and for the music you have left us.
I'll do my best to play to express for as long as the Lord allows....
Until then, RIP.

+1 I received one DOA from Canada a while back.Steve Hamill wrote:Be very careful shipping it.
I would consider shipping it "a box within a box" with lot's of stuffing in and around both.
Can't attest to the tone, never got to hear it...

Thanks for your thoughts...
Time to do some more research.... I guess it won't be all that painful though, just listening to that good music.
Anyone care to give me a range of prices for one of those Hollownecks and Bakelite's that is reasonable to consider should one float by ?

Man, they sound great....
