MCI Knee Levers

I’m looking to replace all 4 of my knee levers on my welded frame MCI. I’d take one or all 4, anything I can find. Can anyone help me out? Also interested in other parts for backups for this steel for future work. Thank you!

Thank you Donny and Jim for your replies. My pedal has a 500k pot from the factory. I am looking to see if it is possible to achieve this with the wiring. I may just have to contact Goodrich and see if they can do this.

Goodrich L10K Buffered Out and Passive out??

I am just wondering if it is possible to mod my L10k to have the option of having one output work with the buffered signal and one output be passive by eliminating the buffered circuit. Any help would be appreciated.

Sorry Jim. I just haven't felt a Gibson tweed up close. I've seen several tweed amps, most being rough, although, I have seen some older fenders that actually felt smooth and had a satiny luster to them. Maybe someone added more lacquer and hand rubbed them. My advice was only if the amp was smooth,...

I'm not sure how smooth feeling these tweed amps were, but if they were before it was painted, I would try sanding it GENTLY with a sanding block with 400 or higher. After sanding off the paint just give it a coat of a brushing lacquer or rattle can lacquer, and buff with steal wool. I think any str...

Did you try talking to Gerry himself? This guy is REALLY into tone. We talked about an hour on the phone today, as I was recently in the same situation. I built my own though. He is very knowledgeable and could help you get the tone you want. He loves to help us guys out. By the way, one more vote f...

Wow Chris! That Baldwin looks KILLER!!1 Thanks for posting those pictures. It look really interesting how they added the knees. Were those knees put there in the factory? Were they smooth and stay in tune well? It doesn't look like a well thought out concept of design. Almost like they had the Baldw...

Josh, that is the best-looking Crossover I've seen yet. Very interesting burst. I appreciate the compliment Chris. I got kind of bored seeing the same type burst on most steels. The color got a little darker than I wanted, but it really is a beauty. I wish I had about five more to try some more col...

I love the tone of mine. I too bought one on ebay about a year ago. I did a complete tear down and refinish. These guitars are very easy to work on, I have found. I don't play C6 yet so I haven't had any tuning issues. I just wish it was easy to add a few more knee levers. That's the main reason I d...

I appreciate all your guys input. I think I'll try John and Donny's tips and then go from there. I honestly don't know if any of the rollers are what they should be. They all seem to have "slop" in them. If nothing else, I might just send one of the keyheads to BSG or Pedalmaster and have ...

MCI parts ,Can anyone help?

Hey guys. I need to find new nutrollers for my d-10 MCI. I have a bad buzz on the fifth and sixth string. It helps if I wind the strings under the keys. I also have really weird overtones going on exactly on the 12th fret, and beyond the 12th fret hardly any sustain.I have already tried oiling the r...

I had this same problem. I'd wiggle it and it cut in and out. I had a lawrence pick-up that one of the leads broke off right where it came out of the pickup. I took off the bottom plate and and had to solder the lead at the end of the coil. I would suspect your problem might be down there since when...

I just got mine a couple weeks ago. I had a strobo-flip, and I like this better because of the bigger display, and more presets. I don't hear any noise throught it either as I did with the strobo-flip and wall wart. The one thing that really bugs be, I have to say, is for how much they are, you woul...
